At HiLighter, our five guiding values inform everything we do, from the way we develop our client solutions through to how we interact with the environment.

Essence

Our strategies focus on the core, or Essence, of an invention, business identity, or business idea. A business culture and brand based on a clearly defined core identity drives strategies and business activities. Similarly, identifying the essence of an invention allows us to understand which features are different from competitive products. During the Innovation process, an IP and development strategy can be designed to protect and highlight the full potential of the invention, for maximum benefit.

Creativity

Creativity, in our opinion, challenges the status quo and our own conceptions of what is possible. Ignoring creativity is the equivalent of complacency. Finding new ways of doing things creates new value. In a competitive economy, creativity is rewarded by introducing smart solutions, rather than cheaper solutions.

Sustainability

Sustainability means two things to HiLighter. First, we strive to deliver results that have long-term benefits and fulfil the needs of our clients. We don’t waste precious time and effort delivering superficial work not in line with the essence of the project. Second, we are prepared to do our utmost to maintain ecological sustainability in our business practice.

Fusion

Innovation works only through a fusion of Creative, Communicative, Collaborative and Commercialisation expertise – what we call “the 4 Cs”. Fusion is seamless and complete.
